My average price of long hold last summer was about $2.20, dropped to 2.02 into winter and is at 1.97.

This does not take into account my short term trading ( avg. $1.25) which if taken into account with previous profits would probably make my average well below 1.80.

Yes it is on when you enter and how you trade. No excuses for losses. I have lost on many stocks, some of which went bankrupt, but I do not complain about them. Waste of time to do so.
