Message: Stand and be indignant.....

at the ease with which a company like CLF appears to be raping the shareholder value in Canadian mining companies. Be revulsed at how a company seems to be able to walk away with stakes of such value that they can claim in effect that they got them for a song given the anticipated future revenues. The greatest disdain should be held for certain agencies which allow the "curious" trading which permits certain companies to make off like thieves in the night, except these are bare face thieves by day. Stand in annoyance that the prophecies of taking companies cheaply in tough financial times are coming to fruition, companies you hold, companies that should have weathered the storm but were assaulted mid stride. The most profound ire should be awarded a gov't which starts to drool because, like Canadian kids on a trip to N.Y. trying to act like New Yorkers, they fall all over the prospect of the big US co. coming to Canada to yet again steal what we should be developing ourselves. Woe to a gov't that doesn't see the folly in spending billions on the auto industry bailouts, when they could build a rail and help develop a first rate mining industry capable of feeding the worlds supply and getting rich in the process.

Politicians were a big part of getting the world into the financial mess it's in. Unfortunately, unlike the grades of our mineral finds, I don't see their's getting any better.
