Yes they could.
'Anonymous' is just a broker who wants to be anonymous for good reason - He wants to hide what he is up to. From my impression of internet gossip, JitneyTrade mainly works for others, could be for TD.

Of course Cappysmart's suggestion could be just as true, after all I sold a few shares today to buy back later when the sp dives some more which I expect to happen. This is just for bragging rights and to get a few $ in my pocket.
Am I crazy? Perhaps, but to keep my sanity I sold only a tiny amount.
