So it looks like BMK has a great copper-zinc strike (sulfide ore), a possible nickel strike and a possible chromium strike. I still don't think that CLF is interested in sulfide ore. But BMK might be an interesting takeover candidate for NOT. They would obtain more copper-zinc in a sulfide ore and also possibly more nickel that might get them up to a critical mass (if they aren't there already) and possibly more chromium that might just cement their position as a credible competitor to CLF in the chromium business. Just maybe, then CLF might be forced to take out NOT. Or NOT might become a more attractive candidate to a larger entity - Xtrata or Vale. Or CLF might take out BMK to prevent NOT from getting it. Anyway just some musings.
