I do not share that hope.

This is a self protection method of take us both or none. It will not discourge Cliffs in the least. As stated earlier by other posters, all these small ring of fire companies should have merged long ago because the sum in this case is worth more than the individual parts.

As is, Cliffs gets the benefit of picking and choosing the best tid bits and leave the rest to wither.
