I did my own feasibility study. The 407 cost 1.6 billion to build not including the untold billions it cost to purchase 100 kilometres of the most valuable land in the country. The government footed the bill for this, and now the fruit of those tax dollars is going into the pockets of snc lavalin and friends. Our little 350km highway should cost a quarter of this and generate tax revenues (over time) well in excess of the money it cost to build the 407 - which we still pay to use, after paying for it once or twice already.

Ontario - you have my permission to use my tax dollars towards this as well.
