As retail shareholders we have every reason to be fed up and to expect BETTER from management.
As a reminder I give you this.
Back in July of last year there was a rumour of a hit on hole 49. Apparantly Clarus and Wellington had meetings with Wes. Clarus bought 2 million shares. Wellington was excited too by something that was revealed by Noront. So these two start buying. We saw huge icebergs at 1.20 by Clarus. They just couldn't get their paws on enough shares. They felt 1.20 was a BARGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. What was the price of nickel at that time. Well it was $6.00 per lb. We were all excited by the fact that the price had come back from the Threeeeeee's. What's the price of nickel now? Well it's $10.03 per lb. down from $12.00
It makes the rational human being hard to understand our current price when Noront since last July has tripled the deposit, and we see much higher nickel prices. Combine this with the fact that it was stated the Eagles nest deposit is open to depth and that we are currently drilling with two deep drills. How can you not scratch your head?
Last Aug. Noront was oversubscribed for a flow through pp at $2.80. based on nickel prices of $6.00 per lb.! Now with a tripled deposit and the JJJ gold zone, etc, the Canadian Gov't kicking money in to help and a higher nickel price we are doing a flow through PP at 1.83. It is NO wonder we are looking for answers from our management!
I watched the antics of Wellington briefly this afternoon .
As an example for today Time: 1:43 : the Antics of Wellington.
AT 1:43 Wellington does the following sells
sell 2400 shares buyer Jitney
sell 2000 shares buyer Jitney
sell 1000 shares buyer Cibc
sell 1000 shares buyer TD
sell 300 shares buyer TD
sell 500 shares buyer Jitney
sell 100 shres buyer Jitney
sell 2000 shares buyer Jitney
Then they wait........................
At 2.06 finally a trade . But a hit on the ask at 1.38
buyer cannacord seller Anon
Then finally another trade at 2:10, but Aw shucks again, another hit on the ask at 1.38. Buyer BMO and seller Anon.
AT: 2:18 Wellington buys back 2200 shares in one lump. AT 2:38 they buy back another 7800 shares. They buy back all they sold at 1:43 pm plus a bit extra for 1.37. The same price they sold at. Had they waited a bit they could have picked it back up for 1 penny less at 1.36.
