There are at least two approaches to this situation: 1) Buy now but be prepared to sit for some time before the stock breaks out or, 2) wait for the stock to really break out and then buy. In other words chart watch There's some comfort in doing this - you may lose a few cents by waiting but may see some immediate results after you purchase For now the stock is mired in the doldrums and could be for a long time
