First off, I don't go run out and buy based on rumors. Next, the rumors were not specific that we could draw any conclusions. To say we hit nickel at 1,500 meters and that cores were sent to Thunder Bay.....in itself means little anyways. I think most would be surprised if they don't hit something down at 1,500 meters....and that there will be more nickel
The question would be how many meters and what is the compisition....disseminated, semi-massive, or massive....and how many meters of each.
Now, it is my understanding that massive sulphides can be determined visually. Over great distances like .....for example, hole 49....I would think it can be determined through visual examination that the results would be quite material. I believe Wes commented at one of his interviews last year....when explaining the run up....how because the cores were visually impressive, they made an exception to their policy on not giving news on visuals.
So....does that now mean that we can count on Wes to report on visuals if they are considered material.....and what would be material.....to you or me....or to Wes.
I will assume that there is nothing material to report on.....otherwise they would have.....since they do make exceptions to their policy....when there is something material to report.
Just out of interest.....let's suppose they did hit something at 1,500 meters....what would we as shareholders think would be material. Think in terms of something that has the potential to increase the resource size.....how many meters of massive would be material.
Or...how many would agree with management if they did find something material and chose not to report it.....let's say for strategic reasons....and they do a PP and issue stock options......and then the stock runs up for no reason....only to find out three months down the road that they increased the resource greatly.
Feel free to comment on what you consider material and whether you would find it acceptable to withhold material information....for strategic reasons.
