In my prior post, I indicated that the breakeven for someone in the 50% tax bracket getting in on a flow through at $1.83 is about $1.22.
As a matter of interest, for someone making around $75,000 and a marginal tax rate of about 32%, that breakeven point to sell is about $1.48 (-$1,830 buy in, + 32% of $1,830 or $585 tax refund, + $1,480 on sale of shares - $237 tax on capital gain)
Furthermore, for someone in the lower tax bracket of 21%, the breakeven now becomes about $1.62 (-$1,830 buy in, + 21% of $1,830 or $384 tax refund, + $1,620 on sale of shares - $169 on capital gain).
My estimates
