I will use CYP/SYH as an example. They are deep drilling in Red Lake. They collared the latest hole on Nov 15, and with various delays, they are at the 2800m mark. It took them 52 days of drilling to reach the 2200m mark. They have all the necessary logistics readily available right in Red Lake, where we are quite remote by comparison, and any delays will tend to be costly, timewise.
Realistically, they will get one motherhole, plus maybe 4-5 wedgeholes from each of these big drills by the end of summer. If they plan to cut across the orebody at maybe the 1500m mark, we are still looking at 2 months before they cut mineralization. This is not a short term undertaking in any sense.
Best regards
K
