That elephant has come back. I was discussing this with a geo friend and it is possible. We also discussed how to mine this at a 2000 m+ depth and one thing came out that I had never concidered. There is an advantage to our location that most don't know. Cold climate. This is a natural air conditioning source making deep mining more cost efficent and possible at these depths. Blowing cold dry air down to these depths and robotics advances make deep mining, especialy a new mine designed for this, possible, better than average warmer mining locations.
