Sum:
I agree with you on "sensitive information" and "knowledge is power". There is potentially a lot of money to be made in the ROF, and with one slip of the tongue our Noront investment might go down the sewer.
IMHO, although I have invested in Noront, that doesn't mean I'm on the Board of Directors and privy to all corporate information. Furthermore, although the Board has a fiduciary responsibility (ie., persons to whom power or property is entrusted for the benefit of another) towards its investors that doesn't necessarily mean divulging all corporate information, which may in fact hurt its investors. Also remember that there are some very powerful investors in Noront, eg., hedgies. These guys don't like CEOs or Boards scr**ing with their money.
I (and a number of other AG posters on this board) have met JJ personally. She can be very acerbic, but she is a straight shooter. If you treat her in an ill-mannered way, you'll receive the same treatment in return. Guaranteed.
My feeling about the BOD and JJ was reinforced again this week while watching Wes on BNN. These guys are not fly-by-nighters. They know they are in a real battle up at the ROF. They feel that they are the leaders of the pack with a two year lead. And they want to be in a real position of power when negotiations with the Province of Ontario and the First Nations begin.
All IMHO.
