I had contemplated trying to get into Fort Severn via the Manitoba winter roads, but was advised this is not feasible by snowmobile, at least at my skill level Land travel outside of freezeup appears in practical terms to be limited to canoes. For anyone interested, Webequie offers a familiarization package (pricey) which is accessed by air.
