Hi
Yesterday, The Wawatay News reported that at last week's important meeting of Gov't officials, exploration companies and Native communities, Marten Falls Chief Elijah Moonias outlined 10 major issues that needed agreement between all parties concerned.
These issues are:
• Expedition of airport construction
• Expedition of both band and business interests
• Elimination of extensive lake usage as landing strips
• Enforcement of accommodation and compensation
• Enforcement of environmental accountability
• Establishment of a consistent environmental assessment process
• Establishment of protocol for mutual business development
• Enlistment of the winter road corridor
• Establishment of land-use planning
• Claw back and compensation for corridor
Chief Moonias said that if all parties agreed to the settlement of these issues within the next 6 months:
" Marten Falls will end the blockade Feb. 18."
Hopefully, all the "grown ups" involved will continue to negotiate and agree before next Thursday!
If so, I expect we will have an immediate Press Release from Noront the next day or so regarding AT12 etc.
Should finally be happy time for our stock price!
