Agreed, this IS an interesting video. Not earth-shattering, but succinctly shows a pattern that we are all familiar with, consciously or unconsciously. Quite descriptive. However, my personal view is that the brush is too broad if it is meant to to include mining stocks. Mining companies have their own palette of risks, but if they are decently financed and have the resources in the ground as I believe Noront has, they can be extremly volatile without falling under the "pump and dump" category. Common wisdom is that it is unwise to type-cast people. I believe the same rule applies to stocks: they must be analyzed and assessed individually. Also, mining stocks have a kinship with commodities that general stocks do not have, so are a somewhat different beast.
