Message: can someone run the numbers?

Not to be dismissive of running numbers. It is harmless, unless giving rise to unrealistic expectations on the part of less seasoned investors. BUT, when the market speaks, that is IT! I suppose it can be a useful exercise to run a check on the market price and where we think it might go, but in the main, these are parlour games. Like the meterologists, always give yourself an "out" when predicting future price movements. Sadly, our FWR brethren gave us many recent examples of the fallacies encountered in running the numbers.

Just my Saturday night thoughts. Not out to rain on anyone's parade. (One more viewpoint).

Best to all, O.F.
