It's been a long couple of months as Notholder. I thought we were off to the races in December but pulled up lame in the final stretch. Patience is very often rewarded.
I like to try put myself in Wes's shoes. I probably have no idea of what I'm talking about but I have a few thoughts regarding the timing of any future news releases - which is basically all NOT is at this point. I do think that the timing of their NR's is highly calculated, and I do think they have done a halfway decent job of cleaning up the major leaks. Still not convinced on that one yet though.
So my predictions for an updated drilling release are as follows in order of most likely to least.
1. Tomorrow (Thurs) morning.
2. Tuesday morning.
3. Tomorrow night.
4. Tonight
5. Monday night.
Things should be back to usual and they definitely must have a backlog of drilling results.
I'm also curious to see if they have made any progress on this front from Dec. 10.
Ring of Fire Geological Understanding
-------------------------------------
Noront has completed the thorough review of all historical geophysical data and as a result generated a series of new targets. Currently these targets are being prioritized and a new geological map of the Ring of Fire will be generated.
There appears to be basically zero action on this stock. I'm guessing the recent boost was from FWR $$ getting recycled back into the ROF. It's tired and there is no reason for it to go anywhere at this point. I am hopeful that the lack of action has to do with the lack of news and that there is no insider action taking place.
I seem to recall that the existing drills could get to 1500 metres when the ground was frozen. All we have is 1100m to this point. Let's see if that's the case.
When you look at a map of the ROF, and the fact that NOT is really the only co. making strides on a daily basis...we have such a long way to go. It's a marathon and we could be at just the 2nd mile! So much uncertainty with the economy, First Nations, Gov't, Environment. However, the goods are right there in front of us...it will just take time.
And if anyone has ever participated on Ebay. Highly valuable items are basically left hanging with useless bids leading up to the last minute. I'm always amazed to see that it comes down to the last possible second and the price gets driven up appropriately. For the White Knights, I'm sure this is the case. Why bother as this item is nowhere close to being ready to being sold?
