Please read Stevie's entire post, but look at this direct quote from Smeenk
"A major U.S. iron ore producer's massive plans to develop a high-grade chromite
mine in the remote Ring of Fire exploration camp of the James Bay Lowlands ... intends to develop the flagship Big Daddy deposit at McFauld's Lake into an $800 million (US) mine project by 2015.
Does this imply that CLF's is only interested in FWR for their share of the Big Daddy deposit?
IMHO Cliffs has gone too far and has their future banking on the ROF.
Big Daddy is the flagship but they cannot leave other chrome. They must take it all or face competition in this very area. I have stated before that the last thing Cliffs wants is to look out their window and see competition on the deposit a few clicks away. Flat land. Cliffs will be able to see it. IMHO they will take as much as they can get of the area. .
Might as well give South Africa some early Good Byes. IMHO their deposits will be moth balled too.
