Contrary to the heading of this post, the Marten Falls community is right in the thick of the action! Bear in mind the vast distances involved in the north of Northern Ontario. Marten Falls does have a vital interest in the railway and development generally. That should not be at issue. Who is ramrodding this is an issue, outsiders or First Nations people and to what extent the latter represents community leadership.

We have some excellent posts on this matter. All SH would be well-advised to keep cool until something more substantive emerges.
