My interpretation of how this will play out...
First...sell off the stock slowly....bring it down on low volume...while knowing there is some dissatisfaction in the area and bad news to follow
Once the stock is as low as you can get it, get the word out that there is dissatisfaction...fill the bull boards with comments about a major blockade
Buy back the stock in greater volume at a lower price as some bail due to the uncertainty associated with a potential blockade
Basically, this is the opposite of the buy on rumor sell on news where the stock runs up for no apparent reason and then there's a big sell off once the good news arrives. In this case, the stock runs down on low volume with no apparent news and then the stock bottoms out and begins to move up once the negative news arrives. This way the large funds are able to accumulate more shares without running the stock price up.
In addition, management participates by remaining silent while this plays out so as to create the perception of non involvement.
That's how I see this playing out...time to buy
