If you had a car that you were selling that was in good condition and worth 20K, you might put an ad in the paper and go through the exersize of having various people come to your door and test drive the car, haggle with you and take a lot of your time away from something more profitable and enjoyable to you. If you were making an average living you would most likely go this route and get the maximum you could. Maybe someone will give you $23K.

If you won the lotto 649 and were and your prize was 22 million dollars. Would you go through this exercize above? Or would you simply trade in this car (get much less from the dealer) as you buy your mercedes or whatever you want.

I keep thinking of Wes Hanson's facial expressions when he told a group of us, "I have not seen anything like this (ROF) in twenty five years. " If you are seeing the lotto win, perhaps you are focusing on your prize and not diverting your attentions away from your win. A possibility.
