some old quotes

I was going through my 3inch thick file on Noront and found a couple of old quotes that kinda sums up what we have

October 13, 2007, Financial Post interview with Richard

"we hit nickel -coppe, which we never expected to see," Mr. Nemis, 69, says in an interview from Wawa Ont, where he is hiring stakers as fast as he can and sending them up to James Bay, " this could be bigger than Voisey's Bay. It's a huge discovery."

" It is probably the biggest new discovery in Canada in the last 10 years," Mr. nemis says. "That's how big it is. It's important" he pauses. "Very important."

From Investorideas.com January 29, 2008

"In a volatile market, investors continue to speculate on one of the hotest potential mining plays to come around in a while and the juniors are lining up to follow the money."

From Vance White president of Hawk Resources, " I believe the Noront discovery will become a very significant discovery and the McFaulds district a significant new mining district. This entire play will evolve over the next few years." According to Richard Nemis" Many investors and mining anaysts have indeed compared Noronts Eagle One Nickel-Copper-PGE's discovery to other significant historical mining plays in Canada, including; Voisey's Bay and Hemlo. this comparison is likely due to the market attention as well as the staking rush, that has happened over the past 3 or 4 months in this isolated region of Northern Ontario, however the comparison is not likely to do with the geology of these two world class mining projects, as the geology of the Eagle One occurence is quite different from that of hemlo or Voisey's Bay. Eagle One is a magmatic massive sulphide bearing some genetic similarities to Voisey's Bay, however, Eagle One has quite high levels of Platinum and Palladium, along with high Nickel and Copper content the likes of which are not seen in Voisey's bay Cu-Ni-Co deposits. Noront would compare the geology and mineralization to that of the many Ni-Cu-PGE occurences (including Xstrata's Raglan deposit) in the Ungava Region, Northern Quebec, where similar grades of these base and precious metals are found."

" For investors following the McFaulds play, follow the leader, Noront, for results and follow the money to see if further capital is invested in the area. Time will tell if this is another mining play in Canadian history."

Lots has happened since these reports and interviews were written, we've had more results we have a quasi major "Cliffs" involved and the probability of infrastructure. There can be no question anymore, IMO, that this will in time become one of the greatest mining districts in Canadian history . Richard Nemis, John Harvey, Neil Novak all know it, yes and so does Wes, the only question for the retail investor is at what level will the juniors be taken out. Mac will probably sell out to Cliffs for 200 mill, what price do you put on Noront?. The ore is still in the ground it's value keeps on growing, we have world class ore bodies, the potential for profit is huge.

I had meant to post in December and wish all of you a great xmas and new years but I got hung up with family matters. We are all brought to this forum by a single thread, the desire to make money. Some of us are geologists , some work in the investment field , some of us just work and some are retired but at the end of the day we are all investors and we have our hard earned money tied up in a heck of a company, Noront Resources. For all of us lets hope we have one great new year and Noront knocks them out of the field with their forthcoming assay results.

God Bless all NOT longs

Joe
