You're probably not far off the mark, Willy. I just watched a documentary on the subject last nite.

If mankind ceased to be a factor tomorrow, most evidence of his being here would disappear within 3,000 years. The average ice age occurs in something like every 25,000 years, after which all evidence of man's existance would definately be gone.
