A situation I had on Wednesday was similar. The stock -warrants - were very thinly traded with the bid at say 4:00 and the ask at 4.75. I put an ask in at 4.50 and immediately went to the stock quote and it was at bid 4:00 ask 4.49. I entered an ask at 4.48and the same thing happened - ask 4.47. obviously programmed. Btw it traded around 4.25 for the rest of the day so I never sell it
