I have opened my TFSA with BMO (inv. line) because CIBC (inv. edge) was not available
at that time. When Inv. Edge started to provide the TFSA service (9 months later)
I have opened with them with no
contribution as I was maxed out with BMO and asked them to transfer my TFSA.
They transferred the stock and cash balance and later charged me the
fee $120 + TAX yes tax, they were charged by BMO.
