my reply to your sarcasm is :

A 25 year mining veteran leaves Barrick (worked at Barrick for 17 of the 25 years).

Alex Davidson is a geologist. His outstanding achievements speak for themself.

This is not a man that jumps from job to job. At a time that Gold is set to make historic highs this man has chosen to come to Noront Resources(a venture company) and leave Barrick Gold the largest pure gold miner in the world.

Unlike some of Noront's Board of directors this man was not given 80 cent stock options. Something attracted Alex to this company at a time Gold is set to make historic highs. After looking at the platinum numbers in Noront's Nov. 19, 2009 NR, I can only imagine.

Once you leave a company your stock options expire. Alex left the security of Barrick to come to Noront at this time in the history of gold at this time in his career. I find that to be encouraging and thought provoking.
