Question about NOT's capital gain on FWR...

these numbers are just hypothetical. If we have any number of shares from say 10% let's say 40% of the FWR float. They will be tendered to Cliff's for $1.00. We know that NOT would have owned many shares prior to and accumulated up to the buyout. Would we not receive a large cash gain. If so would this go to the NOT treasure chest or to a shareholder payout (I know I had a laugh at this last one)?
