I also agree with your thought process regarding why? I reposted some of my post from Nov 23. There has been so much focus on the chromite, yes I agree we have some as well and together they would be minable addition to any resource company. But there is a 'farmers market' of potential minerals down there and they potentially continue along the ROF as it extends north. FWR happens to be first on the list, maybe FNC and Probe next? Take a look at the ring if those companies come under NOT's umbrella. Paints a nice picture. Now that AT12 is going again what would the stir be if we have nickel/copper in volume up there, it would change things dramatically. It could link the pods to underground channels or each pod is a direct shoot from something deeper. I believe and hope AT12 or surrounding area will be a shining spot sooner that later.

My take on FWR offer...

is that it is not necessarily about the chromite. Although the addition of a lot more chromite and PGE's is of course a benefit. But NOT has the bulk of land postioned around this bottom stretch of the ROF, and as you follow the ROF along NOT and up through FWR it goes right back into a whole lot of NOT land staying on the line as it goes north. The first thing we see above FWR on NOT land is AT12 with its revitalized interest by the drills. This is a land play and we need this piece of puzzle. A long time ago even Richard Nemis stated this whole area play needs to end up consolidated by 80% to attract a viable major. This is the beginning of this process, whether NOT takes out FWR, or Cliff's takes out FWR we are going to have our day in a bidding war.
