In the "final offer" press release it stated that the implied value of 1 FWR share was .86 based on Noront's price of $2.25 on Nov.27 The value of the warrant was said to be .22. So .86 less .22=.64 then multiply by 3.5 =$2.24 or maybe $2.25 if the numbers are slightly different.
My questions: If I tender my FWR shares to NOT tomorrow, will the resulting NOT shares be valued at $2.25 each when they go into my account? Or, can the share price on the date of tender affect that? Just trying to figure out what my new average cost will be. I believe it will be $2.25 but thought I'd ask. I tried calling C.R.A. but they are closed.
Also, I have previously contributed the full $5,000 allowed into my Tax Free Savings Account. I am assuming that any new NOT shares derived from tendering FWR shares would have to be put into a different account. I do have another account but if that is the case I thought it should be mentioned in case somebody accidently over contributes to their TFSA because of tendering and having their new shares put there. Does that sound correct? THANKS
