Holy smokes, wow, can you say... DUH? Cliffs can only "match" Noront's offer, again. And this coming from the "proposed savior" (note the small "s") as touted by the Freewest BOD... Boring already...

I think it is time for Noront to either put forth some "very excellent" news, or cut Freewest some slack. I think that the Freewest forum should be thanking Noront for their share price appreciation, but I am sure that all we could hear from them is only "contempt" for our "puny offer". Please Freewest shareholders, PLEASE accept the Cliffs offer and get your just deserts for your investment in the Ring of Fire. You deserve them. A "3" bagger is seriously NOTHING to sneeze at. Hey, even I would be looking to sell about 1/10 of my shares if Noront gets a 3 bagger from where we stand, if it is not in the process of being sold to some major...

So, Cliffs comes through, again. I AM sorry for the Freewest shareholders who were thinking $1 + offer from Cliffs. You just HAD to know that that wouldn't happen. Why would a "minor major" like Cliffs change their modus of operendi??? After all, they are in it for Cliffs, not for the shareholders of Freewest. So, the buck stops here, just short of a buck (pardon the pun). Now, I believe Noront can come out with it's Resource Estimate for the Blackbirds and the market will have a better idea as to how to give some value to them... So it IS a win/win situation after all. Now, it is my prayer that Wes can cut the Freewest anchor, as someone already put it, loose and work on OUR projects. Then I don't have to go over to the other board that I occasionally look at to see all the gloating and mudslinging and value estimations beyond realism, "IMHO".

God Bless all those who have been holding Noront for the long haul, and those who have just entered the "fray" and I pray that we will have a much better Christmas after our "Flurries" have subsided...
