I saw the interview as well and you are right about the remark about not having studied the offer in depth ,it sounded a little unprofessional or complacent in view of them upgrading their offer.
Mind you , it could be that the tendering of the shares is not going according to their schedule and their priority has become to try and get at least enough shares to stop CFL takeover.
In fact when Wes was asked about the shares already tendered, he felt a little uneasy and came out with a ""some ""instead of decisively saying that he was not at liberty to disclose the matter.
This would explain the complacency for the offer and have their renewed bid solely for the purpose of convincing Fwr SH to tender.
Fwr shareholders are playing their game and they only will side at the very end one way or the other , when they will feel satisfied that they cannot squeeze anything else from the competing parties.
