Strato, calm down, you don't want to have your head blow up - you're way too valuable a guy around these parts! Edit - now I've read your more recent post and see you're no longer a danger to yourself or the broker who happens to live nearest to you.
At any rate, we shouldn't fool ourselves - there are countless things that retail investors don't know about, many of which are pretty important, or at least we think they are when they are denied to us. Some of those things are about the company in which one invests, or the ETF, or the exchange, or the market place, the competition, costs to produce revenue, new regulations, heck, existing regulations, and on and on.
If you stopped to consider all that you don't know, there wouldn't be nearly as much investing and then think of all the fun we'd be missing.
