in their corner, who might Cliff's have? I think they'd need further backing if it comes to the serious majors, unless Cliff's isn't that serious about acquiring FWR in the end. Perhaps, besides having shares in various companies, they may have other interests in achieving value from the RoF more to their way of operating. I'm still scratching my head at their bravura in essentially speaking as though they're already on their way with their plans. It strikes me as being a taunt to other companies. If you truly wanted a company and you were low balling severely for what the company has, wouldn't you try to keep it quiet so as to not attract attention and to drive the deal through? Why would you broadcast your intentions unless you wanted everyone to know your plan and were trying to provoke action. Hmmm, pro-vo-king action.
