Mac claims that Noront did not contact him before the first takeover offer...read the directors circular where it is all explained.

Now Noront is claiming that Mac refused to meet with Noront to discus a friendly takeover.

Also if you look up Mac's salary it was very low compared to his contemporary's elsewhere including Noront.

He was prepared to work for a low wage just to get the company rolling. But he put in the $4M poison pill to protect against a hostile bid.

The first thing Noront did was challenge the legality of the poison Pill. In other word's...f--- you Mac. Mac agreed to drop it knowing what was coming from Cliffs.

Is anyone surprised that Mac would be upset? I certainly would be if I were him.
