I have tested a trade of buying CLF for my TSFA. The only warning for me to acknowledge flagged the conversion of CDN$ to US$.
There appear to be no restrictions for either TSFA or RSP (and it would not make sense).
The one caution would be that most likely you will end up with an "odd lot" number of CLF, at roughly 40 or 50 to 1.
