"Your win-win scenario fails to predict where NOT's shareprice might go if the offer does not go through.Should we sell all of our FWR and NOT tomorrow and wait for the dust to settle?"
In fact that could be the best move to make. Has anyone noticed that while the market was looking quite tidy and money is being made out there, a bunch of folks sit around arguing about who is right while their sp's stagnate, waiting for something special to happen. I wouldn't want to bet that most people's expectations on results will yield smiles in the near term. People need to remember their score for reading the future and how much money it's made them. Neither NOT nor FWR are producing and won't be for some years to come so it will only be a major coming on board or a very special find that will jump start these. Want to be when this will happen? If the deal doesn't go through the following scenarios present themselves:
NOT sp stays the same, FWR drops
NOT and FWR both drop
NOT and FWR both stay where they are
NOT rises FWR stays the same
NOT stays and FWR rises
My brain is tired, you math guys figure out the other combinations. Someone with the crystal ball please PM me and tell me which one of these I can count on so I know what to do with my money. FWR..... NOT ..... I really don't care which. They're both just financial instruments.
