IF NOT has gamechanging news to release that will make this a no brainer for FWR holders to get excited about, why would they wait this long to release to it? If they release it after the 11th, IMO it isn't enough time to ensure that all the FWR holders get the news, understand it, and change their vote or tender their shares.

I would think you would want plenty of time for this process. If the 11th comes and goes with no game changing news release from NOT sending their shareprice back over the $2.25 level or similar, then my bet will be there is no such release.

I also don't think that they would initiate this process giving themselves a deadline if they "hoped" to have assays back in time to report.

I am hoping that the gold NR, while fun, wasn't what they were pegging their "gamechanging" release on, because it appears to me that the market pretty much yawned at it in the face of record gold prices, so logic tells me that those widths and grades are probably uneconomic. Surely our company directors would know if this was the case and not pegged this news as a gamechanger, right?

Does anyone know what the rough percentage is of hostile takeover attempts that ultimately succeed or fail?

If this takeover attempt by NOT is unsuccessful my confidence in this BOD's decision making ability will be quite shaken, and though it is probably an unpopular outlook around here, I have been pretty happy with Wes and the BOD so far.
