Now Noront is starting to get serious, in my opinion. Starting to "contract out" infrastructure is one of the key steps in showing that this indeed will become a mining district. I totally agree with you, Sum... this is indeed a positive step. The market doesn't seem to care right now, that's neither here nor there as the market can think what it wants. When this road/rail infrastructure starts to get built and there is a NEW 43-101 out by the end of 2010 on all the levels of Eagles, this is going to be mined, and the market can ignore it at it's loss. Like,
Get real. Does the market know that when, that's "WHEN" this starts to get blasted out of the rock (eagle 1a, that is) that you are potentially looking at a $2 billion dollar ore body the size of 50 meters X 53 meters X 250 meters long that it doesn't matter what they value this stock at, I will be collecting dividend cheques and the market can cry me a river!!! They can value this at whatever they want. Let's get an equity financing and start blasting this ore body out of the ground (yeah, yeah, I know it takes more than just buying dynamite and blasting with roads/rail to be built, permits and environment to be looked at just to name a few items). I hear over on the Freewest board that "someone had talked to Mac" who said it sure wouldn't take long to start "mining" their Black Thor ore body... So what makes anyone else think that the mining of the eagles couldn't be pulled off in the same time frame??? So, let's get on with mining our eagle and forget about the chromite for a bit... I think mining a $6 billion (from news release based on tripling eagle 1a's size) to a $10+ billion ore body (they are still open to depth, sides, and just about every conceivable direction known to man) will make all Noront shareholders a very, very, VERY good return on their investment (and I might add within the next 6 - 7 years for the whole enchilada). So, let's build infrastructure for a billion and mine it for 2 to 3 billion over the next 7 years and see what we can sell all this metal for and pocket the rest.........
I like my calculator. It shows really good dividend cheques coming as soon as 2 to 3 years after making the go ahead to mine decision... So WES,
Let's make that decision already. Show us some permits in place so we can begin blasting already. YOU already know it's BIG ENOUGH!!!
All just my hyper enthusiastic, wish people would listen to me (although I have NO idea as to how to open a new mine :-} ) and get this doggone ball rolling once...
God Bless all Noront Shareholders.
