Here's a theory/strategy for the takeover of FWR.

Noront wants it and wants it now before they unveil the magnitude of the Eagles Nest. It aligns itself with it's 'backers'. Backers could be anyone from Rosseau, Clarus, Wellington, Jitney, Jennings, Dundee, and other Private Investors. All legal and within the rules of 'the game'.

These 'backers' stop supporting the price of Noront. In fact, they may sell their shares of Noront to purchase shares of FWR. This drops Noront and inlates Freewest. The goal is to only accumulate the 66.6% - not a share more.

FWR's share price holds at .50 or thereabouts during this time. When critical mass is reached, the backers stop supporting FWR.

At that point Noront is only obligated to buy the remaining 33.3% of FWR shares for the low, low price of 1/4 NOT shares. Since their backers had stopped supporting NOT, the Noront share price had tanked to 1.65 or lower.

At the time the dealis exercised - the price they are obligated to buy FWR shares for is closer to 41 cents. Can you say....Discount!

Just a fun theory. Mergers and acuisistions are not something I know much about. I am however, the 'self-proclaimed' best poker player I know. Woo! Let's have a poker tourney after the golf tourney next year....fun.
