September and October have historically been the worst months when it comes to stock market performance - all the crashs happened in this period. Black monday, Black Tuesday, Black Friday.
Now that´s not always random.
Mutual Funds are selling their weak positions (losers) before the end of their fiscal years - which happens to be on Oct 31st quite often.
Furthermore there is tax loss selling going on in the US as far as I know (selling your losers before the end of the year).
Nov-May are historically bullish months - but who knows what´s´really happening in these times.
I liked the news yesterday and still believe in this theory!
