ED; I totally agree with you that this indication of gold could easily be economic. By itself in the location it is, it would warrant further exploration, but considering it is smack between Eagle2 and the chrome is a double plus.

I do though, wish everyone would try looking at this through normal eyeglasses rather than the brownish tinged ones that appear to be popular here. They did not drill 44 holes chasing this gold find. They are doing secondary assays on the holes drilled to define the chrome, and feel that 44 of these holes could be gold indicators. This is a very normal occurence in exploration. They were interested in the chrome up until a couple of months ago, and once the push eased off there, they began looking at other possibilities in the core. That they were not forthcoming with rumors and such only strengthens my opinion of them.

We are now entering phase 2 of this takeover story. FWR has rejected the offer, and NOT has come out with (a barnburner?, game changer?, knockout punch?) who knows what. The only definate statement I can make on it is that there will be probably 3 more phases to go through before the die is cast, and that is good, if you know how to play it. And "play it"is the key word here.

There is a definate polarization on these forums. One side is totally against the takeover, and the other side is for it. One side feels FWR is worth far more than is offered and the other side feels it is too much.

There is though, a small number of posters here that really understand what is transpiring and are taking advantage of it. And there are about the same number who realize that they have to do nothing and the end result will be good for all.

Myself, I am in the camp that is taking action while everyone else argues whether they will accept the offer or not. Who cares. When the dust settles there will be an offer on the table that Mac and Co. like, and will recommend acceptance. I suspect that all the naysayers will be happy also.

In the meantime there are dollars to be made. I went against the grain this past week and divested myself of all FWR stock. I did not get maximum dollar value for it, but I was smiling while I sold. 90 cents of every dollar gained was put back into NOT over the last 4 trading days. Tomorrow will tell me whether I was wise or foolish, but right now I feel comfortable. This move was not made because I feel any affection or disaffection for either NOT or FWR, but because I am here to make money. Last month I was totally pro FWR, and no doubt with the changing landscape I will be there again next month.

Gotta luv it

Best regards

K
