What a pile of reading and digesting of perspective today. I cannot debate the relative merits of all of the info from all of the players this past month and hope to convince you folks but here is the rub from my perspective

We have lots of good news from everyone but UC and they’re not out of the race yet, just late out of the gate, slow and at this point unassociated with either side. So if I acknowledge that consolidation is necessary in the area, and that Cliffs et al are at odds with NOT, then there are two front runners in this race. One has a real rail line in the works, and the other has a real nickel mine in the works. Both have chromium and both have the cash they need and have proven that they can raise more in these austere times.

For me it comes down to the last PP done by NOT was at $2.80. The holding period is until 12/29/2009. Compare this to the sentiment that the FWR offer was too low to start with … and the fact that Wes still has the “ium” assays to release … and the ASSUMPTION that NOT has been subject to SP manipulation in the past.

So …

I think that NOT will climb up to the $2.80 realm before year end = 57% increase in SP. And that FWR will increase to ¼ of that price in the same time span = 43%.

Pretty close race eh?

Right now I think that NOT is the better probability because the have taken the proactive position.

I’m at the ticket window and choosing my horse today.

By the way, I have only been able to fabricate this opinion because of everyone’s contribution here at AG; those that attended the NOT AGM and those that share their GEO experience, those that contribute TA and those that bash everyone foolish or otherwise.

Thanks
