However, the mere 25 hours per month is irrevelant to the countless hours they have to put in to qualify themselves in order to have a seat on this board. Getting a law degree, CFA, CA or whatever designations they have don't come easily or cheap. Now if I happened to be putting in 25 hours per month for the free shares you would have every right to be downright pissed! (I would vote that Wednesday is wing night at the board meeting, by the way)
As an example, Lorie Waisberg was a senior partner at Goodmans. Senior partners at downtown law firms typically bill themselves out at $800/hr. 25hrs per month x 800 = $20,000 x 12 months = $140,000 per year with no guarantees of collecting on these options, so there is some value here.
I would also speculate that Waisberg does not be even come close to best value per hour on this board.
