Cliffs and/or FWR may want to upstage NOT by making a counter offer prior to the AGM.

Knowing this NOT will likely wait until the last moment before announcing assay results. They want to be able to trump any counter offer with news of their own.

But, according to Frank, JJ has said they will make an announcement before (or at?) the AGM.

So tomorrow will be a very interesting day.

Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the walls of NOT/FWR/Cliffs/Xstrata etc?
