Tendering Shares to Offer vs Voting Shares on Offer

posted on Oct 13, 2009 12:59AM

I was under the impression that if Noront proceeds with an offer by way of share exchange, it will be up to FWR share holders to tender their shares to the offer, not vote whether or not to accept the offer. Thus, FWR management's role would be advisory only. Of course, this will all become clear if an offer materializes as expected, but meanwhile there seems to be much confusion in this regard.

As a long-time close follower of the NOT Board and those of other ROF plays, I must say I am extremely disappointed at the needling and haranguing taking place under the pretext of discussion or analysis. I believe a useful tool is being destroyed by foolishness and mean-spiritedness.

If the hat fits, wear it.
