In this outlook presentation, Mr. Burleton will take a look at a world economy in transition and discuss the implications of these broad trends on the Sudbury area economy and job market. Particular emphasis will be placed on the prospects for the nickel market over the next few years.
In his current role with TD Bank, Derek heads a team that provides leading analysis on Canada’s resource and nonresource sectors, regional markets and public policy issues. Derek is frequently called upon to speak to the media on economic issues and he gives numerous presentations to groups within and outside TD Bank. Derek currently serves on the Policy Action and Tax Committee of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
