A very "humanly honest" post Sum4all. You have touched many points on the "psyche" of trading in the exploration and speculative markets.

My wife equates this investing to gambling. Basically it is, just as we do our DD, calculations and odds comparisons we are all essentially gambling on a chance, a hope, a dream.

We base this on fact, figures, markets, supply and demand. What we can't measure is market sentiment, nor, forsee how things may play out. We are blind with eyes wide open.

Noront has been where we are today before. A big jump up on news and market response a few years ago. This was however a few years ago and times are not the same. The market is more cautious, more learned and more conservative with JV companies. What used to rise on speculative figures now wants bankable, committed and forseable numbers on delivering the goods.

We now see the ROF pulling big news releases and assay results that make it likely an area of sustainabilty. Will this be now, near or far away? We can't say. To many factors and risks. It is ponderous though, with so many investment houses and published recommendation reports to buy into the ROF why things have not moved closer to these prospectives.

One has to wonder how much retail moves these ROF stocks compared to institutional.

This brings me to the points that Sum4all has made. Principles of investing, profit taking, not waiting for the big pay-off and calculated assessment.Patience to know when to buy and sell, discipline to stick to your goals and not get run away with greed, and acceptatance to know that what you have done is done. Hindsight is 20/20 and we all can tell stories to credit this.

It is human nature to want, desire and when unchecked these emotions can overcome the most sensible of common sense. In the JV market this can bring to your knees. Invest smart, play smart and exit smart.

Cheers.

B.
