Let me first start off by saying a special bon voyage to Mr. John Harvey, you sir will be missed, Noront will not be the same without you, we here on the forum wish you all the best going forward.
Now then, on to the drilling, great nickel grades, great PGM grades.
We have an updated drillplan which coincides with the release of assays.
We have an updated cross section which coincides with the release of assays.
We have documented extensions of the B and C lenses to the allowable degree that our on site short capacity drills where capable of.
We knew, or at least should have known that any holes drilled into the lenses would be looking at near vertical intercepts, as such with only nine holes we have really expanded the lenses, ongoing directional drilling going forward should continue to expand, I also would expect to see a lengthening of hole 49's mineralization below that which is currently known at the least as a new start to the new 1500m drill.
We had serious deviation issues due in part to the small diameter drill stem and the depths of drilling, all the more important to really get a handle on the drilling at hand
The larger drill capable of 1500m now on site, couple up with the latest BHEM data should aid the directional input so as to minimize "misses" so to speak, our step outs from now on will most likely be of the horizontal directional type most likely from the same grandfather hole.
Of particular interest is the very good continuance of the Platinum and Palladium saturation within the mineralization.
We are just beginning to define B and C, by the tone of some posts in the last couple hours there was expectation of complete deliniation of the lenses, hopefull thoughts all that but rather unrealistic, the news is as I expected. Of course I like most other "longs" feel that the news of Mr. Harvey leaving is a sad affair.
Sit back all, relax and let the drills turn, relish in the thoughts that with the 3D geophysics will lead the bits to where there needed.
We have done all that can be done with existing equipment, good news is that upgrades are coming, deeper drills, and directional capabilities. We yeilded a ton of information from nine holes, even the holes that missed tell a tale.
Don't right off that step out just yet.
Thanks to NOT for the updated drillplan and X section of the most recent drilling.
Cheers all.
