This is one post I have hidded away in the vault labeled Noront due to the Condor connection with the claims 3012264 (Eagle One) and 3012265 to the NNW shown below.. a good post in a good line of discussion posted a year and a half ago. Hole 49 ran out at bottom trending NNW, could the step outs be not south at all as theorized in one of my previous posts but rather NNW towards anomalies b and c on 3012265 claim unit shown on the old Condor ground mag? These are close enough and may well be much more of the reason for the JV with Probe than initially thought.

So, is vertical the "new" horizontal when it comes to discussion of Eagle One strike length? With the Eagles Nest growing at depth it sure looks like it, that is of course only until our geos. find the next stratigraphic "cluster" of Pods/lenses. Perhaps the underlying geology's such that all Nickel around Eagle One will lay below deposited in much the same way as Eagle One and its new lenses, making its way to surface vertically through conduit, fractures and fault from deep below. Something very geologically spectacular has gone on here to enable this lowly stretch of 20 kms or so to be so vastly rich in mineralization, and all high grade at that. Imo, the secrets to this lie deep and will be revealed in due time. Perhaps it will be NOT that gets to do the reveal.

Claim unit 3012265 pictured below hosted AT 9 towards the bottom right hand corner of the claim unit. See the link in the photo section.

PW's post: A is E1, b/c on ajoining claim.

Some background of Eagle One and other anomalies in NW

NOT had their eyes on the Eagle One anomaly site because of a ground magnetic survey commissioned by Condor Diamond, the stake owner back then, in Feb 2006. The report from Scott Hogg & Associates has identified three anomalies A, B and C.

The model in the report predicted a deposit body for A measuring about 40 m (W) x 300 m (L) x 200 m (D) and near surface. The current drilling results have been remarkably close to this survey prediction.

The model for anomaly B and C measured about 116 m (W) x 120 m (L) x 150 m (D), and 56 m (W) x 100 m (L) x 100 m (D) respectively. Given the success of the anomaly A drilling, I'd think the odds for anomalies B and C are also high.

B and C are about 450 m and 550 m away from A, and guess what - one of the PRB's anomalies is about 500 m away. I've attached some exerts from the reports below. You draw your own conclusions.

Should B and C be drilled, what do the resident geos think of these ground mags, AT 9 drilling?

From Probes June 26th 2008 release:

"The McFauld's West property is located approximately 450m from the Eagle One discovery and the current program represents the first drilling to be conducted on the claims. Probe is encouraged by the recent geophysical, geochemical and geological results, which indicate the potential of the property to host mineralization similar to that on Noront's property. The most recent drilling intersection from Eagle One returned the highest grade material to date averaging 6.25% nickel, 2.75% copper, 1.85 g/t platinum, 10.23 g/t palladium, 3.0 g/t gold and 10.3 g/t silver over 46.6 meters."

Below is a Map with 3012265 wedged between PRB land proximity..interesting that Probe's website says that its claims are "on trend" with that of Eagle One.....not sure how long its been there. I don't currently own PRB.
